Google launched its latest series of smartphones in Oct 2023. Series includes two smartphone- Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro.

However, recently some Google Pixel 8 Pro owners have reported that circular bumps are occurring in several places on screen.
Google Pixel 8 Pro’s display bumps affecting users:
It is said that these deformation seem to be the result of something pressing up against the fragile underside of 6.7 inch OLED panels.
But users noted that gorilla glass victus 2 cover glass is not affected due to the bumps.
According to a 9 to 5 Google report, in models of Pixel 8 Pro positioning of some components might be pressing up the underside of the screen. It is also claimed that there might be something wrong with the manufacturing process which is making indents appear.
However, users reported that bumps are not impacting the functionality or image quality. And bumps are not even visible at the correct angle in optimal lightning.
But,concern is shown that bumps can worsen up. Google Pixel 8 Pro multiple users have shared several images on a community thread that shows the bumps forming on the top edge of the smartphone. Two indents seemed forming on the left of the front camera while another one can be seen on the right. Some photos also reveal that there are more bumps on the top left and right sides of the panel which are close to the edges.
But not all the users have reported the same problem, so it’s hard to tell if the issue is widespread or is only affecting a handful of owners. Some users have already reached out to Google asking for a replacement. While others have demanded extended warranty in case this problem worsens.
