Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital on Monday for a knee and tricep injury. It was later revealed that the procedure was minor and long overdue. The old wounds were aggravated while filming action sequences for Saif’s new film Devara. The actor is currently getting better with his wife, Kareena Kapoor Khan, by his side.

Based on reports, the actor suffered injuries to his knee and shoulder while filming Devara, his most recent film starring Janhvi Kapoor and Jr NTR. While performing the action scenes in the movie, an old injury to the triceps flared up.
Actor said this is the part of the wear and tear of what we do, this injury and the subsequent surgery are inevitable. Following the procedures, Saif released a statement saying, “I am beyond grateful to be in the capable hands of such amazing surgeons and I appreciate all of the love and concern from everyone.” It is still unknown what kind of injuries they were. Saif will take a short break from his work and future projects in order to fully recover from the successful surgery.
Saif was discharged from the hospital on Tuesday morning and headed home. Kareena Kapoor, the actor’s wife, was with him, and the two of them welcomed the media outside the residence. Saif appeared healthy and robust, dressed in jeans and a blue t-shirt. He was carrying it along with a sling that was holding his left hand over his shoulder.
Saif Ali Khan has hurt himself while filming before. Prior to this, he had hurt himself while filming Vishal Bhardwaj’s Rangoon, which starred Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut. Throughout the filming, the actor was frequently observed donning a crepe bandage. While filming the movie’s climactic scene, he suffered injuries to his thumb and ankle.
