T-Series has held the subscriber crown since 2019, when it overtook PewDiePie. At the beginning of 2023, MrBeast, then with 127 million subscribers, pledged to close the significant gap between his channel and T-Series, which had 233 million subscribers at the time. In an impressive turnaround, Jimmy has now amassed 266 million subscribers, overtaking T-Series as of June 1, 2024.
Jimmy Donaldson is aged 26 and renowned for pushing content creation boundaries and setting numerous records. His videos are famous for their intensity, featuring stunts such as burying himself alive for a week and challenges where contestants must endure 100 days together for a substantial cash prize. He gained massive popularity through viral challenges and stunts, such as “I Put 100 Million Orbeez In My Friend’s Backyard” and “Last To Leave Circle Wins $500,000,” often featuring generous giveaways and charitable acts.
Donaldson is renowned for his philanthropic efforts, including funding numerous food banks and launching Team Trees, which raised over $22 million to plant 20 million trees, and Team Seas, aiming to remove 30 million pounds of trash from the ocean. His entrepreneurial ventures include founding MrBeast Burger, a virtual restaurant, and launching Feastables, a line of snacks focusing on high-quality ingredients and sustainability.
Beyond his entertaining content, this YouTuber has made significant contributions through his non-profit organization, Beast Philanthropy, donating millions to assist family, friends, fans, and those in need. His entrepreneurial ventures have also flourished, with his chocolate bar brand ‘Feastables’ selling out rapidly in Walmarts across North America.
In May, he announced his ambitious plan to recruit 5,000 participants for “the largest game show ever in history.” This inaugural show, ‘Beast Games,’ will be hosted in partnership with Amazon Prime, offering a $5,000,000 prize.
With this continuous rise, Jimmy has firmly cemented his place in internet history, and his future endeavours promise even greater achievements.
