Aamir Khan is back in Mumbai to throw a wedding reception for his Bollywood colleagues and other city guests, following a lavish Indian wedding for his daughter Ira Khan and new son-in-law Nupur Shikare. Reception was full of glamour.
Aamir Khan with his family:
At the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) reception, Aamir Khan, in a rare moment, posed with his entire family. The newlyweds, Aamir’s first wife Reena Dutta, nephew Imran Khan, sister Nikhat Khan, son Azad Rao Khan, and the Nupur family were all depicted in the picture along with his son Junaid Khan, who is an upcoming actor.
Ira wore a red-and-golden lehenga, while Aamir, matching with both Junaid and his son-in-law Nupur, wore a black bandhgala. Imran, however, dressed for the event in a black tuxedo.
Kiran Rao absence:
Kiran Rao was not present at the reception due to illness, which Aamir disclosed to the press. Kiran Rao is a filmmaker and his second wife. After that, Aamir posed with the Laapataa Ladies cast.
Rebel Kangana Ranaut in Ira Khan’s reception:
The actor Kangana Ranaut was present at the wedding reception of Aamir Khan’s son-in-law Nupur Shikhare and daughter Ira Khan.
On Saturday, Kangana shared a picture of herself posing with the Khan family on Instagram Stories. Kangana posed for the photo with Reena Dutta, Aamir’s first wife, in between her and Ira. In the same frame, Aamir was also spotted posing for the photographers.
Kangana Ranaut told a story last year in which she said she missed the days when Khan was his best friend.
Jaya Bachchan loses her temper again at paps:
Jaya Bachchan, the veteran actor, reprimanded the paparazzi twice in her typical manner. She began by asking them not to instruct her to pose at each mark. As a paparazzo led her, Jaya retaliated by asking, “Who are you?” At the reception, she posed with actress Sonali Bendre and her daughter Shweta Bachchan.
However, Anil Kapoor was observed mingling amicably with the photographers. He inquired as to why they were acting so silently today.
Three renowned actresses together:
A photographer posted a video of Saira Banu receiving tons of affection from Hema Malini and Rekha while they posed for the cameras. Saira Banu was given a warm embrace by Rekha, who then requested that she stand between her and Hema so that they could pose for group photos.
Hema wore a cream silk saree, and Rekha wore a pink and golden saree with a lot of jewellery on it. Saira Banu looked stunning in a navy blue salwar kurta.
