Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal issued the first order from jail for the Water Department of the Delhi government, on Saturday, March 25th.

Delhi Cabinet leader Atishi said that CM instructed to solve water and sewer-related issues in some areas of the city.
“In his direction, he (Arvind Kejriwal) said, ‘I have learned that people are facing water and sewer related issues in parts of Delhi. I am worried about this. People shouldn’t face these problems because I am in jail. Tankers should be arranged for places where there is a scarcity of water and appropriate directions should be issued to the officials so that people don’t face any problems,” said Atishi.
He also suggested taking Lt Governor VK Saxena’s help, if needed, and expects that he will extend all assistance, Atishi added.

On Saturday, Sunita Kejriwal, Arvind Kejriwal’s wife, read out a message of Kejriwal through video link and said that he cannot be kept in jail for long and will return soon to fulfill his promises to the people.
Arvind Kejriwal arrested by ED
Arvind Kejriwal was arrested on March 21st by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), related to an alleged liquor scam. ED alleged Kejriwal is the ‘kingpin’ of the alleged scam and is directly involved.
ED had arrested senior AAP leader Manish Sisodia and Satyender Jain last year, in the same scam case.
On Friday, Rouse Avenue Court remanded Delhi CM for six days till March 28th. Arvind Kejriwal said that he would not resign from the Chief Ministerial post and would run the Delhi government from jail.
