BTS member Jimin made history by winning the King Of K-Pop award at the 2023 Melon Music Awards.
The famous South Korea Award Show is set to take place on December’s at the Inspire Arena in Incheon, Yeongjongdo.
The 28-year-old K-Pop singer Jimin,is the one and only soloist to ever be honoured by winning the K-Pop title.
Amidst this great achievement, other BTS member’s Jungkook and V a.k.a Taehyung also won Giant Pop Star and Idol Of The Year awards respectively.
This news comes after BTS announced a mandatory military service date.
BTS member Jungkook recently wrote an overwhelming letter to his fans popularly known as the “Army.” In which, he mentioned he will become the better version of himself.
The Melon Music Award announced its Top 10 artist based on the results of voting which was held on November 17 which included the whole group of BTS and soloist Jungkook.
Jimin got only a nomination for Album of the year while other members of BTS group received a number of nominations for the prestigious MMA.
It marked the show’s 15th year since its first debut.

On the same platform, another fan wrote “CONGRATULATIONS V, IDOL OF THE YEAR! CONGRATULATIONS Jimin, KING OF KPOP! CONGRATULATIONS Jungkook, GIANT POP STAR! SO PROUD OF THEM.” Yet another said, “Jimin became the first Korean soloist in history to win the King of Kpop award at the Melon Music Award. You can’t find a more successful person than Jimin. He is the perfect idol in all aspects. He relied on himself and became the first idol in everything l’m always proud of him.”
