Elections are over, and so is Arvind Kejriwal’s interim bail. The Delhi CM surrendered at Tihar Jail yesterday evening after his 21-day interim bail for Lok Sabha election campaigning ended on June 1.
Here’s what Kejriwal posted on X this morning: “I will leave home at 3 pm. First I will go to Rajghat and pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. From there I will go to Hanuman temple in Connaught Place to seek blessings of Hanuman ji. And from there I will go to the party office and meet all the workers and party leaders” he said today.

“All of you take care of yourselves. I will take care of you all in jail. If you are happy then your Kejriwal will also be happy in jail.” he added.
Delhi CM and AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal was arrested by Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 in a liquor policy scam case.
“In these 21 days, he campaigned for many parties of the INDIA Alliance, because this election was not just for one party. This election was to protect the constitution of the country. We respect the judiciary, hence Arvind Kejriwal has surrendered on the scheduled date,” Delhi minister Atishi told reporters.
Arvind Kejriwal says his return to Tihar Jail is not due to corruption but because he has raised voice against dictatorship.
Addressing the people he said, “I want to tell the people of Delhi – your son is returning to jail today. During campaigning, the PM accepted that they don’t have any proof against me. They have raided more than 500 places but have not recovered a single penny,” Kejriwal said
Here’s what Kejriwal has to say on Exit Poll Results, claims as “fake”
“One exit poll gave 33 seats to the BJP in Rajasthan whereas there are only 25 seats there…The real issue is why they had to do a fake exit poll 3 days before the day of counting. There are several theories regarding this, one of them is that they are trying to manipulate the machines (EVMs),” he claimed.
Delhi minister Kailash Gahlot said that the jailed CM has only one request “that is to serve the people of Delhi with dedication.”
He was accompanied by his wife Sunita Kejriwal, and party members including Atishi, Kailash Gahlot and Saurabh Bharadwaj, Rajya Sabha MPs Sanjay Singh and Sandeep Pathak.
