Janhvi Kapoor disclosed what happened when she initially learned of her mother Sridevi’s passing, the most recent episode of Koffee With Karan took an intense emotional turn. She claimed that, despite being the younger sibling, it was her sister Khushi Kapoor who gave her comfort.
Janhvi Kapoor said “Khushi is strong”
Looking back on the incident, Janhvi said to host Karan Johar, “I was in my room when I got the call and I could hear wailing from Khushi’s room.” I believe I stormed into her room, crying and hauling, but I do remember that she gave me a quick glance and instantly stopped crying. I never saw her cry over it after she simply sat next to me and began consoling me.”
Speaking for herself, Khushi said that she understood that she had to keep her calm for everyone since she had always been the one who was strong.
Janhvi Kapoor talking about Sri Devi’s death:
In 2018, while attending her husband’s nephew Arjun Marwah’s wedding in Dubai, Sridevi passed away. It was discovered that she had accidentally ended up drowning.
Janhvi also discussed similarities between Sridevi and Khushi. “One thing I believe she has in common with Mumma is that she is a very quiet person.” However, Janhvi said, Khushi just blew up in front of the camera.
The daughters of Boney Kapoor from his second marriage to Sridevi are Janhvi and Khushi. He had a son named Arjun Kapoor and a daughter named Anshula Kapoor with Mona Shourie when the pair were formerly married. With the exception of Anshula, all of his children are now actors.
Kapoor’s acting career:
Khushi Kapoor’s debut was with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies last year, Janhvi made her acting debut with Dhadak in 2018. Ishaqzaade was Arjun Kapoor’s debut movie.
With the recently released film Tu Jhooti Main Makkaar, which co-stars Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor, Boney also made his acting debut.
