NTA releases a statement giving clarification
According to the press release statement by NTA “The increase in cut off reflects the competitive nature of the examination and the higher performance standards achieved by the candidates this year,”
1,563 candidates were compensated for the loss of time, and the revised marks of such candidates vary from -20 to 720 marks. Amongst these, the score of two candidates also happens to be 718 and 719 respectively due to compensatory marks,” the statement said.
Students demand cancellation of the results
According to the ground reports, “A student even after scoring 630 marks out of 720 marks is unable to get admission in a government college due to the scam.” Hence, future of 24 lakhs students is compromised, students are seeking a re-exam to be taken.
