In light of escalating tensions between Israel and Iran, two Middle Eastern nations teetering on the brink of all-out conflict following the Gaza crisis, Elon Musk, currently the world’s wealthiest individual, have something to say.
Owner of SpaceX, Elon Musk posted a message on X (previously known as Twitter) where he shared a photo of a rocket and stated, “We should send rockets not at each other, but rather to the stars.” This statement came after reports emerged of Israeli missile strikes targeting Tehran, following the latest exchange between the two nations.

SpaceX, headquartered in California, is a company specializing in spacecraft manufacturing and satellite communications, owned by Elon Musk.
Last November, the tech entrepreneur visited Israel for two days. During his visit, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu accompanied him on a tour of an Israeli kibbutz destroyed in an attack by Hamas on October 7. Following his visit to Israel, Hamas extended an invitation to Elon Musk to visit Gaza, intending to showcase the devastation caused by Israeli airstrikes.
Israel responded to the October 7 attack with air strikes on Gaza, igniting a conflict that has persisted for the past six months.
In February, Starlink, a satellite internet network owned by SpaceX, obtained a license to operate in Israel and parts of the Gaza Strip. The Israeli government approved the use of Starlink’s services at a field hospital in Gaza, with Starlink also committing to preventing Hamas from accessing its internet services.
What’s available so far Regarding Israel’s reported strikes on Iran?
The United States reportedly received notification before Israel’s attack, which occurred shortly after Iran launched a significant strike on Israel using a combination of drones and missiles. Israel had claimed to have intercepted most of these projectiles. Subsequently, the US and Western nations urged Israel to exercise restraint and limit any retaliatory actions to prevent further escalation in the region. Tehran’s attack followed an alleged Israeli airstrike on the Iranian embassy compound in Damascus on April 1. Iran has provided support to Hamas since the latter’s incursion into Israel on October 7.
Iran’s remarks on Israel
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi cautioned Israel, stating that Tehran would issue a “serious response” to any incursion onto its territory. Additionally, Iran conveyed to the United Nations Security Council that Israel should be pressured to halt any further military actions that jeopardize Iranian interests.
