The trailer for ‘Nosferatu‘ has been released featuring Lily-Rose Depp and Bill Skarsgård in the lead roles. Scheduled for a Christmas release, this upcoming gothic tale is directed by American filmmaker Robert Eggers.
‘Nosferatu’ (2024) is an adaptation of the 1922 silent German Expressionist classic, ‘Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror,’ directed by F. W. Murnau.

‘Nosferatu’ is slated to hit U.S. theatres on December 25.
Eggers’ films are known for their horror, mythological and folkloric elements and tones. His films ‘The Witch’ (2015) and ‘The Lighthouse’ (2019) have gained wide critical acclaim from critics and audience. In an interview once, Eggers described his main interests as fairytales, mythology, and folklore.

Bill Skarsgård, ‘Pennywise’ to Nosferatu
Famously known for his portrayal of ‘Pennywise,’ the dancing clown from the iconic horror films based on Stephen King’s novel adaptation, ‘It’ (2017) and ‘It Chapter Two’ (2019), Bill Skarsgård is set to once again send chills down the viewers’ spines, this time portraying the role of classic sinister vampire Count Orlok also known as Dracula.
“It was like conjuring pure evil. It took a while for me to shake off the demon that had been conjured inside of me.” Bill Skarsgård said in an interview.

Lily-Rose Depp, the daughter of Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis is a French American actress known for her performances in ‘The Dancer’ (2016), ‘Planetarium‘ (2016), ‘The King, (2019),Yoga Hosers'(2016), ‘Tusk‘ (2014).She also played the lead role in the HBO drama series ‘The Idol’ (2019).
