Abhijit Bhattacharya on Shahrukh Khan
Recently, when Abhijit Bhattacharya was asked about his relationship with superstar Shahrukh Khan he opened up by saying that he never had any problem with SRK but it was because of a few music directors that they stopped working together. He called SRK a self-made man with self-respect and self-esteem, the qualities he also has. “We don’t have ego, but we have self-respect,” he said.
Abhijit also said that he tried to resolve the issues between him and Shahrukh Khan but his efforts went in vain. He said that Shahrukh Khan was a very commercial person who would use others and remove anyone from his path to success.
The singer also commented that there is no bigger nationalist than Shahrukh Khan. ”Labelling him as anti-national is very wrong. Many have attempted to do so, but there is no bigger nationalist than Shah Rukh Khan. Take the films that he has made like Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Swades, Asoka, etc. which truly show his love for his country India. Among the Khans, Shah Rukh Khan is the only nationalist. Others don’t really have anything to do with the nation,” he said.
Abhijit Bhattacharya also spoke about his interest in collaborating again with Shahrukh Khan after so many years. He said, “I have the same quality of voice even today but I don’t have any idea how will it suit SRK today. It’s a miracle that I have the same quality of voice even today. I am blessed.”
