iPhone 16 series expected to release later this year, leaks about its upcoming features are already abundant, providing us with a preview of what Apple is working on for its next generation of iPhones. The iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max will be the four models available, as usual. Better cameras, quicker performance, and other improvements are all to be expected. iPhone 16,16 Pro, 16Pro Max; Speciality and Features
There are rumours that the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will have larger screens—the Pro will have a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max will have a massive 6.9-inch screen. Although it might be difficult to hold these larger phones in one hand, this could enhance the viewing and gaming experience.
However, it is anticipated that the standard iPhone 16 and 16 Plus will retain the 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch screens of their predecessors. There are also rumours that the standard may eventually support a 120Hz refresh rate, which would result in more fluid images.
Processor and more
It is anticipated that the Pro series will be fitted with the more sophisticated A18 Pro chipsets, whereas the standard models may use an A17 chip that has been modified. Additionally, there is conjecture regarding the incorporation of graphene to enhance heat dissipation in the Pro models. More information about the chipsets is still needed, though.
Camera
Leaks point to camera upgrades like a 48-megapixel Ultra Wide lens for better low-light photography, despite the lack of official information on these changes. The Pro Max version could add 5x Telephoto lenses to both Pro models and have an advanced eight-part hybrid lens. Additional leaks have revealed that the 16 Pro models may include a periscope lens, with the Max model supporting an optical zoom of up to 6x.
According to leaks, there’s a chance that the Pro model will continue to be the only one with 5x zoom, while the Max variant will get a greater zoom range.
Battery and Durability
Larger batteries for the 16 series appear to be in the works, with the Pro Max model reportedly sporting a 4,676mAh battery. The iPhone 16 Plus may feature a 4,006mAh battery under the hood, while it might feature a larger 3,561mAh battery. There may also be plans for 20W MagSafe and 40W wired charging that is faster.
Design
The iPhone 16 series may feature a new Capture Button that allows for quick video capture, even though significant design changes are not expected. It is also reported that the USB Type-C port will remain, and that all models will have a punch-hole design and an Action Button.
