Recent episodes of the controversial reality series Bigg Boss 17 featured the media questioning the contestants about their personal and professional lives as the latest season came to an end. Vicky Jain and Ankita Lokhande, whose marriage has been a hot topic of conversation ever since they moved into the house, were also questioned by the media.
As reporters were observed scrutinising Vicky Jain’s behaviour toward his wife within the house, Ankita talked about the allegations that Sushant Singh Rajput’s name was being used to get attention.
Ankita Lokhande feel ‘proud’ while talking about SSR:
Ankita Lokhande, who has been discussing the late actor frequently within the house, was recently charged with using his name as a gaming tactic. The actress denied all of the charges levelled against her, stating that she is “proud” to discuss him and that she only has positive things to say about him—especially to those who aspire to be like him.
Starting with the inquiry about whether she was continuously bringing up the late actor’s name to court his fan base, Ankita disclosed the reasoning behind it, stating that she thought he was a good man and that she could take advantage of the opportunity to share some positive things about him through the platform.
Ankita said “Abhishek and I used to keep talking about Sushant as he considers him as his idol and really looks up to him. He wants to become like Sushant and considers him an inspiration. I only said good things about him because I feel I can tell some good things through this platform. I can talk about him as I think I know him and have seen his journey.”
Ankita further went on to explain her reasons, adding that she feels proud while talking about Sushant Singh Rajput. “It is not flawed in any way. I’m only mentioning the positive aspects of him that I am aware of. It feels absolutely fine to me. If there is a young boy who wants to become like him, I will definitely talk to him or anybody else,” she added.
Ankita Lokhande and SSR relationship:
Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande were involved in a committed relationship. But after seven long years of dating, which began on the sets of their TV show Pavitra Rishta, they called it off.
Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his apartment in 2020, which was a shocking event. The actress had not spoken about him until now, following his death. Fans, however, think the actress is using his name to gain attention because she brought it up in the show.
Her mother-in-law also made a similar accusation recently, saying that she was using this name to try to win people over.
