BTS vocalist V and The American R&B singer UMI are collaborating on a brand-new song called Wherever U R. The group’s second youngest member, who will soon work with soloist IU from South Korea, has another project in the works. BIGHIT MUSIC provided an update on his next project on December 26. This unusual partnership creates a lovely romantic song by fusing UMI’s smooth melodies with V’s soulful singing.

The South Korean boy band, consisting of seven members, shared a social media post on “wherever u r (feat. V of BTS).” Fans of BTS and UMI are uniting to celebrate this upcoming collaboration on social media as a result of the announcement, which has sparked enormous excitement.

December 29, 2023 at 9 PM (PST) and December 30, 2023 at 2 PM (KST) is when the song will be released. All of the members—Jin, J-Hope, Suga, RM, V, Jimin, and Jungkook—are currently fulfilling their required military service. It is anticipated that Jin and J-Hope will finish their mission and return in 2024.
