About ‘Heeramandi’
‘A mix of love, betrayal, succession, and politics in the kothas (house of courtesans)’ was how the show’s creators put it in a recent statement. They stated, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s signature style of larger-than-life stories, complex and soulful characters, and rippling dynamics of a world rife with conflict during a defining time period for India is what Heeramandi promises.
Similar to all of the auteur’s works, Heeramandi’s musical compositions will be one-of-a-kind and leave an impression on the audience, much like his narratives.”
