One of Bollywood’s most well-known and cherished couples was Neetu Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor. They had a long-lasting though troublesome marriage and were both successful actors in their own right. She recently made an appearance on Karan Johar’s well-known chat show Koffee with Karan 8 with Zeenat Aman. She mentioned how strict Rishi was as a boyfriend during their conversation.
Neetu Kapoor expresses her feelings about Rishi Kapoor:
Recently, Neetu Kapoor and Zeenat Aman were guests on a Koffee with Karan 8 episode hosted by Karan Johar. Neetu talked about her early days and the reason she never went out to parties during their chat. She remarked, “We had a great time, especially with Yash Chopra, ji.” She further revealed that they used to play antakshari, silly charades, and party all night long. She said, “That was just one picnic, then. It was really, really enjoyable.”
Subsequently, the actress claimed that Rishi Kapoor was a “strict” boyfriend who discouraged her from going out. “But my boyfriend at the time was Rishi Kapoor. Thus, I never went out to parties. As a result of his constant insistence that I should “come home,” “don’t do this, don’t do that,” and “yeh nahi karna.” Thus, she never witnessed that wild side of partying back then.
In addition, Kapoor stated that her mother and boyfriend were extremely strict: “I was devoted and had extremely strict parents. Thus, I struggled to choose between the two.”
Neetu reveales that Rishi kept his feelings to himself
Neetu talked about visiting Rishi in New York while he was undergoing cancer treatment during their segment on the show. She stated that she wanted to keep in mind the positive aspects of their relationship when karan questioned her about their relationship. “I personally dislike recalling the depressing portion. I enjoy thinking back on the positive aspects of our relationship and our time spent in New York. We had the best year ever, but New York was very depressing. “It was the most amazing year of my life,” she said.
She added that Rishi was someone who kept his feelings to himself. He was never friendly to his childrens,Riddhima and Ranbir Kapoor. Fortunately, he changed while he was in New York. According to Neetu, Rishi showed love and affection for his family in his final days.
KJo asked her to choose one aspect of her marriage to Rishi that she wanted Ranbir and Alia Bhatt to take after her during the show’s rapid-fire round. She replied, “nothing,” adding that she couldn’t expect the next generation to act in the same way because they are all unique.
