After the victorious win of India over Pakistan, the Pakistan Cricket Board has filed a complaint with the ICC over the inappropriate conduct that took place with the players during the India Vs Pakistan match at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Hyderabad. They were really upset by the behaviour and wanted immediate action on this by the Indian Cricket Council. The complaint was raised as some videos were going viral on social media where the crowds in Ahmedabad Stadium were seen as a bit unfriendly and aggressive to the Pakistan team.
India’s win over Pakistan has taken a major turn, and the players of Pakistan received many thrashes on social media. Apart from this, another formal protest by the Pakistan Cricket Board against the ICC arose over the delays in the Visas of Pakistani Journalists. Earlier, also PCB chief Zaka Ashraf raised grave concerns over the delay in visas being issued to Pakistani fans and journalists for the World Cup.
What happened to Rizwan during the India-Pakistan clash?
Reports suggested that Mohammed Rizwan, the wicket-keeper and batsman of Pakistan, has been mistreated by the fans on the field during the India-Pakistan match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Hyderabad. Several fans reportedly shouted ‘Jai Shri Ram’ (Hail Lord Ram) multiple times when Rizwan was heading back to the pavilion. Rizwan’s video went viral and provoked debate on social media when he was walking back to the stadium. This ill-treatment of Rizwan was not tolerated by PCB and, hence, filed a complaint amid the loss of Pakistan with India.
Feverishness among the Pakistan players before the match with Australia
Many players of the Pakistan team fell sick just before their match with Australia, which created a tense situation among them. “Some players got fever in the past few days, and most of them have fully recovered from it. But those who are in the stage of recovery will remain under the team medical panel’s observation,” PCB’s media manager Ahsan Iftikhar Nagi told PTI.
The match with Australia will be a heated one as both teams will be competing in a winning mood.
