Recently, Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja are throwing a dinner party at their Mumbai home for David Beckham. As per the news and media, the party is going to be very private where only 25 selected and special guests being invited. The former England football team captain is currently in Mumbai, and he is also likely to meet the members of the Indian film fraternity soon.
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja to host a party for David Beckham
David Beckham is now in India for his commitment to UNICEF as a global ambassador and he will be meeting Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja during this trip to Mumbai. The couple will be hosting a private dinner party at their Mumbai home for David and have invited the creme de la creme icons of the city for a dinner at their residence. According to the sources, “The party hosted by Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja will be a very private affair where only countable 25 guests were invited”. The party was organized on Wednesday where some prominent figures of Bollywood were given special invitations to attend the grand dinner celebration.
The source also said, “Let’s look at David now. He is a global icon, and his wife (Victoria Beckham), too, is a fashion icon. They both are pop culture personalities of the world. So, there could be more than what we will be seeing about this dinner. Let’s wait and watch.”
David Beckham’s India trip
He is in India for his own personal commitment but he is also interested in witnessing the ongoing Cricket World Cup where the semi-finals took place yesterday between India and New Zealand at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Recently, David can be seen visiting Gujarat to witness the state-of-the-art action and to advocate towards child rights and gender equality. He also supports education for all children irrespective of status, caste, gender and colour.
