Lana Del Rey’s album spends 10 year in BillBoard 200
This week marks the album ‘Born to Die’ by Lana Del Rey’s tenth year on the Billboard 200. The collection has now spent 520 weeks, or precisely ten years, on Billboard’s list of the most-listened-to full-lengths and EPs in the United States.
Born to Die moved an additional 13,717 equivalent units during the most recent tracking week, according to Luminate’s data. There are 2,074 pure purchases in that amount.Over 10,000 of the remaining equivalent units were attributed to streaming activity.
As Lana celebrates 10 years on the chart, Born to Die is a non-mover on the Billboard 200. Once more, it feels at ease at frame number 60. The singer, who became a breakthrough star in the industry, released the set, which peaked at No. 2 when it was first released.
Even though the Billboard 200 is where Lana Del Rey makes history, her current success isn’t limited to that. There are at least four additional Billboard album rankings that feature Born to Die.
Although Born to Die falls short on almost every list it appears on, its longevity after all these years is remarkable in and of itself.
The album is ranked No. 40 in terms of sales, No. 13 in terms of top rock & alternative albums, No. 6 in terms of top alternative albums, and No. 19 in terms of vinyl albums. It has previously ranked first on the last two of those lists.
