Founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation, Nita Ambani received the ‘Beauty with a Purpose Humanitarian Award” on Saturday, at the 71st Miss World Finals held at Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai.

The award recognized Nita Ambani’s work in the fields of education, art, culture, healthcare, and sports, among other social services and charity.
A chairperson and CEO of the Miss World organization, Julia Morley presented the award and said, “Nita Ambani, you are known across the world for all the kindness…You do so much.”

While accepting the award, Nita Ambani said, “This honor is not just a personal achievement, but a testament to the power of compassion and service that binds us..”
“I have experienced divinity in the smiles and laughter of millions of children through the work of our Reliance Foundation. Sundaram celebrates the beauty that surrounds us. Find joy in every moment and fill your heart with gratitude and appreciation. Use beauty as a force for positive change,” she added.
Actor Priyanka Chopra, who won Miss World in 2000, in the prerecorded video played at the event talked about Nita Ambani’s work and her dedication to doing good for others.
Miss World Contest 2024
India has hosted Miss World this year, the last time India hosted this event was in 1996.
Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic won this year’s (2024) Miss World title. Sini Shetty, the winner of Femina Miss India 2022, who was representing India, came in the top eight contenders.

On platform X, people made of the Nita Ambani, Roshan Rai wrote, “Jio Presents Jio Award at the Jio World Center to Jio’s Owner.” 
Another sarcastically called Nita Ambani down to earth and wrote, “Nita Ambani could have bought ‘Miss World 2024 title’ for herself but just she, her modesty that she bought herself ‘Beauty With a Purpose Humanitarian Award’.”
